DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Wednesday, October 12th at 12 noon for a presentation by international guest speaker Denise Harrison, RN, RM, PhD.\n(please note that this presentation is in English only)\nPain treatment in newborns: Past, present and future  \nDenise Harrison is a professor in the Department of Nursing, University of Melbourne, Australia.  She leads the Be Sweet to Babies program of research, which focuses on pain management for neonates and infants in partnership with parents and clinicians.\nFrom 2011 to 2020, Denise was the inaugural Nursing Research Chair at the University of Ottawa and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), Canada. Her team co-produced a series of publicly accessible videos in multiple languages demonstrating use of evidence-based newborn pain management.
