DESCRIPTION:Dawn Cheryl Hill is a mother, grandmother, beader, writer, and an enrolled member of the Six Nations of the Grand River.  Her first book, Memory Keeper, has received the First Nation Communities Read 2022 Long-list award, by Good Minds.  Memory Keeper has also been selected as a Shortlisted Finalist in the 29th Annual Hamilton Literary Awards, the ceremony held in December 2022.\nDawn is a Mohawk from the Turtle clan who grew up at the Tuscarora Territory in Lewiston, NY.  She currently lives at the Six Nations territory in Ohsweken, Ontario.
