Critical Reading Group – Life: A Critical User’s Manual
The Centre for Research in Health and Nursing (CRHN) is once again launching the critical theory and philosophy reading group. The aim of this monthly group is to read and discuss texts by philosophers and critical thinkers that are not from nursing or healthcare to arrive at new understandings and perspectives of our world.
The book that has been chosen by the majority of the reading group for this year is Life: A Critical User’s Manual by Didier Fassin. For the first session on October 20th we will discuss the Preamble: Minima Theoria – pages 1-19.
