February 22, 2024 – Community of Practice (CoP)

In this session, we will give you an overview of the structure, expectations, and common procedures involved in a PhD defense. We will also provide you with tips for creating an engaging and effective presentation that communicates your research findings. Additionally, we will share strategies to help you prepare for and confidently address questions from the examination committee. You will also have the opportunity to hear from academics who have successfully defended their PhD theses and learn from their experiences.
