Critical Reading Group – Frames of War: When is Life Grievable?

The aim of this monthly group is to read and discuss texts by philosophers and critical thinkers that are not from nursing or healthcare to arrive at new understandings and perspectives of our world.

We will continue our discussion of the book Frames of War: When is Life Grievable? (2016 ed.) by Judith Butler, chapter 2, “Torture and the Ethics of Photography: Thinking with Sontag”.
